LABYRINTH

BEFORE ORVAN

The words came first.

Almost twenty years before ORVAN had a name, I had written the idea that would eventually become Labyrinth.

I kept coming back to one thought: everyone seems to be pointing toward the same exit.

There is always a right direction.
A right way to live.
A right way to feel.

And somehow, you're expected to follow.

But what if I don't want to leave?

Years later, those old words became the starting point for something entirely new.

Labyrinth was the first song I produced while searching for a sound I didn't yet know how to name.

ORVAN didn't exist yet.

But something had already begun.

LISTEN

Inside the labyrinth, I'm good.
Everybody wants out, I won't.

— LABYRINTH
